Whether you opt for a pre-designed plan or customise one of our plans we’ll be with you every step of the way—ensuring your new home perfectly matches your lifestyle and vision. At this stage, an estimated cost will be given and council information requested, along with a soil test, site survey and other preliminary requirements.
You’ll receive our guidance in choosing the fixtures, fittings, and colours for your home. We’ll provide a range of detailed options to help you personalise your space, ensuring every choice aligns with your unique vision and the specifications outlined in your signed tender document.
Your preliminary plans will be meticulously prepared and presented to you. Together, we’ll review your tender document and plans to capture any final variations or structural adjustments. This is your opportunity to finalise your home’s design, ensuring every detail is perfect. Once we’ve refined everything, we’ll prepare the HIA contract for your review, marking a significant milestone in your construction journey.
With your energy report and structural engineering drawings now complete, we are ready to provide you with the final costings for your build and finalise your contract.
A completed HIA contract, including all finalised plans, a specification document and a summary of progress payments to be made for the duration of the build will be presented for your review and signature. Then, once we have received the Homeowners Warranty Insurance, a 5% deposit is due before construction begins.
As you approach the final stages of the administration phase, there are a few important items we’ll need from you before we can begin on site: - Confirmation of financing - Written proof of land ownership - Building permit - Site inspection to ensure the area is clear of rubbish and debris.
We begin the most exciting part of the process—the build of your new home. From turning the first sod until the final day of construction, you’ll be part of the journey, attending site inspections and enjoying every moment as your dream home begins to take shape.
